Payment of Deposit
The deposit is
part payment of the full price.
The deposit is required immediately upon confirmation of your travel option. A deposit of NZD $1000 is required by bank deposit to our account in New Zealand. Acknowledgement of the deposit will be made by receipt with the Balance of Payment attached. Deposits are non refundable. Deposits may be transferred with prior permission of ON THE WILDSIDE only (conditions apply).
Upon confirmation of your travel option and payment of your deposit ON THE WILDSIDE will secure your bookings.
Balance of Payment
Full payment (balance of payment) is required 2 months prior to departure or earlier. On receipt of your full payment we will provide you with all documentation and services detailed. This will be ordered only when you have paid in full and is generally not available earlier than four weeks prior to your departure.
Our prices are based on payment by cash or direct credit into our bank account. Please advise us if you would like to pay by credit card as a service administration fee may apply
Passport and Visa Requirements
If we are arranging your international flights all travellers will require a valid passport. Please forward a copy of the photo page of your passport so that we can ensure that we spell your name correctly on your documentation, plus any visas including NZ re-entry if required. Many countries require your passport to be valid for more than six months beyond the expected date of your return, and for some countries you must have a machine-readable passport. Your passport should be in good condition as if it is damaged or excessively worn it may not be valid for travel. For some countries a valid visa will be required. If you are not on a NZ/Australian passport, you require a re-entry permit to NZ if traveling through. You should check with the relevant consular offices as to the passport and visa requirements for your particular trip and your personal circumstances.
Any criminal convictions or previous contagious diseases may affect your entry into certain countries. Please be aware the Department of Courts may decline your exit from New Zealand should you have an outstanding fines.
While we can assist, your passport and visa requirements are your responsibility.
When applying for your passport, visa or entry permit, ensure you allow plenty of time for issuance prior to travel. Please note that passport, visa and entry permits are always the final responsibility of the traveller, ON THE WILDSIDE cannot be held liable for any loss or expense due to the failure to comply.

Airline Mileage schemes
With Air New Zealand Air Points, every kilometre you travel can now bring you closer to exciting rewards such as Award Tickets, Companion Tickets and Upgrades. Each member of the group may use their airpoints card. Please advise ON THE WILDSIDE of your membership numbers. It is advisable to retain your boarding passes and ticket copies as a record to protect against the airline system not capturing your data correctly. These programmes are provided by the airline concerned and ON THE WILDSIDE accepts no responsibility for default by the airline in honouring such programmes. Please note that not all airfares are eligible for points.
Special requests
Please advise us of any special requests such as special meals and seating preferences. We will endeavour to make requests to Service Providers on your behalf, but cannot be responsible.
Outbound connections
Please let us know if you would like domestic flights, or a shuttle to connect with your outbound flights. We can also advise on car storage. If you require an airport hotel before an early flight we can help.

If you have any unpaid fines you will not be permitted to travel. ON THE WILDSIDE takes no responsibility for non travel due to unpaid fines.
